Massage is a technique in which the soft tissues of the body are manipulated to target a positive response. Working with animals such as equids; temperament, posture, body disposition, eagerness, mobility and mentality can trigger a need for massage therapy. The power of touch may provide an increase in circulation, stimulation of the nervous system, an increased range of motion & mobility, growth of structure, soothing of musculature and relaxation of all soft tissue. An alternation of pressure and techniques along different muscles and bone provide an enhancement to the well-being of the animal.
