My Story
My story starts in this very region of Simcoe County growing up in Wyevale with a passion for animals. I truly started my devotion as I set out east to Nova Scotia for post secondary. I spent 6 years on the Atlantic coast getting my hands deep in the agriculture community. Attending Dalhousie University with many nights spent on farm, my eagerness to pursue large animals was a no brainer. In 2017, I graduated with a Bachelor of Agriculture; Major in Animal Science as well as a Diploma in Veterinary Technology. Not having enough of the east coast, I spent the summer flying back and forth to Charlottetown, PEI working proudly for the Canadian Coast Guard before settling back in Ontario. Tiny Township has become home for our growing little family, as we construct our own farm on a beautiful 50 acre property. I am currently a devoted RVT at the North Simcoe Veterinary Services loving every aspect of large and small animal medicine. In 2019 I decided to expand my love and knowledge for horses (or large animal medicine) by becoming a Certified Equine Massage Therapist. This is an absolute passion of mine and would love to continue to hear your stories as I aid & support each and every horse that deserves massage.

Most recently I have been focused on my new earned role as a Certified Laser Therapy Technician for equine and companion animal patients. I am very excited to be offering this treatment through Pure Equine Therapy as well as North Simcoe Veterinary Services. Laser Therapy is becoming a more reputable non- invasive treatment that over 80% of patients can benefit from.
